CUBA — There was plenty of plaid to go around when kilted Scotsmen gathered for the 6th Annual Allegany County Celtic Festival Saturday in Cuba’s Fireman’s Park.
Twenty-two clans in all gathered for the event, responding to the Calling of the Clans for the opening ceremony led by organizers, Mary Abraham and Beth Hand.
The Grand Marshall for the Celtic Festival was retired Brigadier General Arthur G.Austin, Jr., while the Rev. Matthew McDonald, a native of Scotland who now resides in Kane, Pa., blessed the festival.
