Two pieces of famous Babe Ruth memorabilia are likely to fetch more than a million dollars at auction this week — and now their famous owner has been revealed.
It’s actor and noted baseball fan Charlie Sheen, who is selling two Ruth artifacts: His 1927 World Series ring and an original copy of the sales agreement from when Ruth was sold to the New York Yankees from the Boston Red Sox. Sheen outed himself as the seller to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, a move that should raise the profile of the items even further in their final days on the market.
